– A Bit Of This And A Bit Of That –
The fact that you are reading this is an astonishing thing really. Think about it. Consider how far we as humans have come to get to this point where we can communicate, quite effectively, across the entire planet and even into space, reaching astronauts and probes. What circumstance brought us to this point?
The answer is, in a way, a glitch. We evolved from single-celled organisms and eventually became the fantastically complex beings that we are today. This was, in many ways, a happy series of accidents. You see, the DNA that codes our every biological sequence, is a fluid and ever-changing thing. By internal design and by outside influence, it changes from generation to generation. Sometimes it alters in unfortunate and often deadly ways. Then again, sometimes it adapts us into a better and greater thing than before.
It is by such chance alterations in the code that we have arrived. These changes are, in some essence, glitches. Some of these glitches are not for the better of our species. Yet, some of them are the very things that brought us to the top of the world and beyond it. Often, the best way to success is through some repeated failures, so long as there is learning and experience developed through them. So, I ascertain, with some metaphor, that we are The Perfect Glitch.
This website is not really intended for any simple or particular purpose. It is meant to be ever changing, much like our own evolutionary history. Don’t expect to find any thread other than our own desire to explore, learn, adapt, record, analyze, laugh, cry, and create. Vague as it may sound, you may still find some connection and interest within these pages. We hope that you do.
